We are seeing horror after horror on our screens of places and people being annihilated in the name of greed and power, and simultaneously feeling a wave of nostalgia crashing over us all.

We were all young once. Remember that? I think a lot of us are starting to forget.

What was your favorite thing to hold when you were five? What brought you the most joy to watch on your TV screen when you were a teen? What reality would your younger self want to see today?

If we can start to consider our younger selves and all they had to do to bring us here today, the happiness, fear, excitement, and devastation they endured, perhaps some collective healing can come of it. All of these worlds, our past, present, and future, are at play with each other. How do we dig through the past to honor the present?
