It’s time for our Annual Youth Show — one of our favorite exhibitions of the year, and our yearly reminder that you’re never too young to do big things, and you’re never too old to be inspired to create.

Kids have a way of making art without overthinking it. They follow an idea, take a risk, make a mess, change their minds, and keep going. They create before they worry whether something is “good,” “right,” or what anyone else will think. This show is a celebration of that kind of uninhibited creativity and an invitation for all of us to remember what happens when we simply make.

We’re inviting young artists to submit their work to be part of this year’s exhibition at The Purple Door Gallery. As in the past, the kids work will be shown along with Sebo Walker's large abstract paintings and this year we've also invited Nathan Paul Rice to showcase his playful wooden sculptures!
